Help Project Open Hand Win a New Meal Delivery Vehicle

In the last 3 months alone, Project Open Hand prepared 88,309 meals for people living with HIV/AIDS and 8,470 meals for those homebound with other critical illnesses, distributed 17,117 grocery shops to HIV/AIDS clients, distributed 1,428 grocery shops to breast caner clients, and served 102,959 congregate lunches to seniors.

Project Open Hand is happy to announce that they’ve been named a finalist in Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good program – and they need your help to win a new meal delivery vehicle (a Toyota Highlander Hybrid).  The Highlander, which gets 28 miles to the gallon, will replace a 16-year-old, 8-cylinder cargo van that gets just nine miles to the gallon.  Fuel savings will help them to put more money towards nutritious meals and groceries for clients.
