Professional Support

By Ariel Miller

At UTAC we are huge supporters of our professional sports teams across the nation; particularly because they are huge supporters of ours! For the last eighteen years the San Francisco Giants dedicate one of their games to help our cause –our largest event of the year! We are extremely grateful for and proud of our 2010 World Series Champion baseball team.

Additionally, we made almost $1,000 by partnering up with the San Francisco 49ers to sell tickets for the upcoming game this Sunday, November 14. Keep your eyes posted for our Bracelet-wearing supporters in the crowd!

To show our appreciation to our supportive professional athletes, we want you to work with your sports teams to help us restart the conversation about HIV/AIDS in your communities across the country!

Contact your sports teams to discuss a way that they can help raise awareness and funds for HIV/AIDS. Here are some ideas:

  • Sell tickets for a game as a fundraiser to benefit UTAC
  • Find athletes to be featured in one of our PSA ads
  • Have your teams purchase bracelets & announce their support at a home game
  • Sell bracelets at an upcoming game
  • Ask the entire team to “like” Until There’s A Cure on facebook
  • Get creative!

Thank you for supporting Until There’s A Cure by wearing your Bracelets each day and for getting your professional athletes on board to help us restart the conversation in your communities!

Email us at info@utac.org to tell us about your event.
